The homes in Christmas movies are extra nostalgic, usually seen covered in a perfect white layer of snow and housing some of your favorite holiday characters. Although plenty of the homes in classic movies could only be found on Hollywood backlots, a few of them are real homes. You can even tour some of them and relive your favorite films.

Take a trip around the world with us to remember some of these iconic homes.

Love Actually

It’s possible to visit most of the sites in Love Actually while visiting London. The most iconic home from the movie, though, is 10 Downing Street, also known as the Prime Minister’s residence. It’s here that Hugh Grant meets his love interest on his first day as PM.

Anyone who’s ever taken on a fixer upper can relate to the tale of George and Mary Bailey’s dream house. A lurking old mansion that looks like it probably wouldn’t survive a strong wind becomes their cozy family home in the quaint Bedford Falls.

Home Alone

The Mcalister’s home from Home Alone is as stately as ever in Winnetka, IL. It recently sold to new owners for $1.585 million. It’s hard not to want to have some of Kevin’s adventures in spooking two crooks when you see this house.

Merry Christmas from us here at The Kerr Group!
